10 Unforgettable Sets from Lightning in A Bottle 2025: Music, Magic, and PLUR Vibes

Reviving Playful Spirits: Lightning In A Bottle 2025 Unleashes Bass Brilliance

Nothing compares to the absolute madness and magic of Lightning In A Bottle (LIB). Imagine a sprawling playground for grown-ups, where creativity blossoms and the unexpected becomes the norm. Not just your average EDM carnival, dear bassheads, but a place where you can rediscover your inner child amidst a wild jungle of interactive art and installations.

Got a quirky side that's just begging to be let out? LIB is your arena. From the guy sporting a full-blown Guy Fieri outfit to the ‘80s living room with a marvellous stack of cassettes and a vintage sound system – it's all about basking in the weird and wonderful.

A Tribe That Vibes: The LIB Crowd

Yet, what truly rocks about LIB are the spectacular festival-goers. This is a gathering that attracts the best vibes on the planet. Forget about losing yourself in the digital world; the LIB tribe is all about immersing in the music and connecting with each other. Let the beats take over and remember, it’s all love, unity, respect and peace under these laser lights.

A Stirring Symphony of Sub-Genres

Moving onto the juiciest bits – the music. From a melange of sub-genres to spine-tingling sets, this year's LIB was a hotbed for the best underground EDM tracks. Trust me, every performer brought their A-game, seriously shaking up the jungle!

Highlights include the absolute bass heavy INSANITY from John Summit and a surprising Subtronics cameo. We also had the likes of Subtronics himself setting the stage on fire with electric VIP flips of everything from frenetic dubstep to DnB fun.

Melting into the spectacle that was TroyBoi's global-inspired trap session was nothing short of transformative - even he called it his favourite set of the year! And no one could resist Sammy Virji's bouncy UK Garage beats, especially with a surprise guest like Flowdan!

Legends & Rising Stars of LIB

Let's not forget Salute, who littered his set with unreleased IDs from Chris Lake, Disclosure, and Interplanetary Criminal. Our beloved Hamdi kept the crowd roaring with his signature spinback and grimy wubs. And Khruangbin, despite a few technical glitches, delivered a dreamy psychedelic-funk oasis that was a much craved sonic reset.

Meanwhile, electronic music kings Underworld reminded us of the glory days of old-school rave with live vocals and hypnotic visuals. Things got even steamier when Mary Droppinz laid down three hours of wubby beats during a sunset session, followed by Hybrid Minds inducing a wave of liquid drum & bass euphoria.
